Looking at locations , ended up putting this together,
besides the soft /out of focus shots, shaky footage, heavy handed grading, and depressing sound track... and banding , other than that would Love to hear your feedback.

Was the anamorphic aspect frame shot for ...or was it a post "after thought? It works well and there are some very cool compositions / framing
Be great to build a story around that location.

I respect and appreciated all your comments .
Initially this was a location scouting run, for a short we have been working on.
So I didn't really come prepared .....
Arrived at Lost Hills , just south of Bakersfield CA, around Midday !
So shot mostly using ND 4 on camera and with a tiffen ND .9 4x 4.

I also used Andy Shipsides from ABLE CIne`s AF 100 clean scene file

But not for every shot ? sorry I was sweating too much and realizing I need to get a real pair of glasses as opposed to the $ 9.00 over the counter ones I am wearing.

The lens , set of Zeiss ZF s, from 18mm up to 100mm, tokina 11-16 , voigtlander 25mm 0.95 [ this featured a lot in the short cut]
all cine moded by Duclos http://www.ducloslenses.com/Duclos_Lenses/Main.html
and a red Zoom 18 50mm t3.

Banding yes , I noticed more while grading , any open sky , I was struggling to see on my SmallHD 6, .... of course I think I could completely eliminate it with a few hours of grading but not really the time at the moment.
There is about 5 hours of footage , from that day , so details of what lens is kind of gone .
I also only had a tripod , I suddenly realized the benefits of having a good slider, .... possible next purchase. !
