Hey everyone. I'm going to be shooting a music video in about 2 weeks so i went out today and just went locally to some of these locations. Tell me what you think. I did a little color correcting to a few clips. It's like a sad rock song for a girl without the band. So tell me what you think of these locations

That dappled light is going to be difficult to deal with, unless it is overcast.

location looks pretty good to me. Brick, leaves, congested trees, broke-down shack (or whatever that was). Seems to fit the song you have described. I liked the color changes during takes. I realize you probably did these as tests, but perhaps sudden or gradual changes in color like this could fit with the song.

Yes, thanks, i hope everyone seems to find these locations good cause I want you all to enjoy the music video.

it looks to me that your shooting in your backyard. i dont particularly think that location reveals enough information to film a an entire music vid there. Although i liked the look of the paint peeling on the shed. could be an interesting shoot..

Here is an attempt at color correcting and other stuff in order to get that old film, reddish, sad, warn out look. Tell me what I should change, if you like it, or even try color correcting etc urself. I know it's a bit extreme but i dont like boringish. Let me know.

Hey! I'm from Long Island too... and this looks like an interesting location (some of it reminded me of Kings Park)... mind me asking where it is?

(I did a photo series of Kings Parks a few months ago and loved it... love any oldish-abandonedish type site). BTW, you ever see LIOddities.com?

No this location is in nassau county. I have never seen that site before. I just took a quick look and it seemes cool. However, I can't travel far fo this music video.
