GH4 Local Series Shot in 4K with 3 GH4's

Nothing to crazy in my settings.

Cinelike D

Contrast 0
Sharpness -2
Noise Reduction -2
Saturation -2
Hue +1

i.Dynamic LOW
Luminance Level 16-255

No Curves (DONT TOUCH! Really bad on skin)
No Master Pedestal (Ah the noise maker)

Try shooting with iDynamic off (it actually adds a lot of really bad noise reduction, which does make footage look like shot with a Canon DSLR...)
Set sharpness to -5 (it sharpens noise as well... and stresses the codec a lot... AND everything looks like video!)
Set noise reduction to -5 (it doesn't denoise too well, but it makes fine grain big and blotchy.)

Noise looks organic here up to ISO1250. Even better than BMPC footage... Much finer and nearly no chroma noise!

Here's a new video done with my cinelike D to LOG workflow. (old version is in this forum, will post an update soon)

Some interesting points...and thanks for the link to your video!
I dont have a real problem with noise either, so I disagree with Eric on this point, but as Eric said tho...people have different tastes, and tastes change too, depending on what you are used to.
I dont shoot that much in Cine-D either, I personally prefer Natural, it doesnt mess up the pinks and oranges as much.
One thing I do agree with Eric tho, and disagree with what you are saying iDynamic on low does not degrade the image in good light (I have done countless tests)
BUT...if the light is low, then yes it does add noise and degrade the image, not in good light tho, it lifts the lower areas nicely...and I have tested and re tested this...same result.
