Hi,
Although, I know it's possible to do a live feed using DVX100B or any other camera to a projector using wires but is it possible to do it wireless.
I have a shoot next week and if someone can let me know what kind of device will be required, it be great.
This truth especially applies to wireless video. It's live, so there's fast chosen.
When I mean to say is that it's a prety much given, that cheap wirless video sucks, and you have to pay a lot to get a good quality signal.
Most all lower cost (less than many thousands of dollars) wireless video units are designed for monitoring purposes. Trying to send a production signal (like to broadcast or a projector for public display) often does not work.
Look into either renting a higher end unit if possible, or re-evaluate how badly you need to be fully wireless. Paying for a roll of coax cable and a grip or two to wrangle it may be the cheapest way.
I've used a couple of different wireless systems, and I can't say that I fully trust either of them. The first one we had was some cheapo consumer unit that was snow city; I finally got tired of that and ordered the Laird Waveshot (which doesn't seem to be made anymore), which is a lot better, but still can have some interference and might not be up to snuff for a paying customer. (The customer that we use it for, who gets the whole show as a donation, is pretty thrilled with it, though. )
