Live type issue

So i make a title in live type and it looks great after i render it. Very smooth and crisp. When i import it to fce it's not the same quality and it looks cheap. I have the settings in live type to NTSC 4:3 so i don't think its that.
 
Make sure your FCE sequence settings are correct, and playback settings are set to best. Also, be sure you're not scaling up past 100%.
 
To add to what arges said, make sure that the pixel aspect ratio is correct, across applications. It's easy to overlook sometimes.
 
If you are viewing this in the FCP canvas, you will only see a low rez proxy.

It must be assessed on an external production monitor
 
Often times your default 4:3 setting in LT will be 720x486 and what you really need is 720x480.

Check your prefs.

Also -- do change your FCP RT settings to HIGH and not dynamic. David's rightish there. If your settings are good and renders are full you can get a whole lot closer to something other than low rez proxy. But yes, not as good as checking it on something that people will actually watch it on.
