Live streaming to Skype

A client just requested something I haven't done before:

They want me to shoot a live panel and send a live signal from the camera to a computer (MacBook Pro with HDMI) and use Skype to send the signal to someone in another city.
Can I do this with either a GH4 or AF100? And can I also record to SD card at the same time? Any other thoughts or considerations?

You need a capture card, I recommend the Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder since your Mac has Thunderbolt. That will let you set either an HDMI source or SDI source in Skype.

Thanks. That might be the solution I need. Do you know if I can record to the camera's SD card at the same time?

As far as I know, the GH4 can record and output video at the same time. I know the AF100 can.
