Hey there,

I was wondering if anyone new anything about live web streaming directly from a MacBook Pro and a Canon XH A1.

I want to stream to potentially over 50,000 people. I also want to stream directly from my website. I want to give each person a unique password in order to watch the feed.

Is this possible to do? What program/hosting server will I need to do this?

Thanks guys,

Justin

Check out www.ustream.tv , we used them earlier this year to do a live stream from our live premier down in Hollywood. Then Isara.org used it to broadcast PK's world record breaking karaoke attempt.

I do live streaming on Ustream. and I have a PC. I use Webcam Max to do switching and overlays. The only way to do a live stream and password protect it would be to have your own streaming server or pay for one and have a script (php or something) that can handle that sort of thing..
