Live projecting

Hi

I got a call this morning from someone doing a live cooking demo.
They want me to hook the HVX up to their computer and have the image broadcast on a screen so people in the back can see.
Is this possible and if so how do I hook up?

Cheers!

id imagine coming straight out of your component out to the projector would be the easiest way... do they NEED the computer in the chain?

My snippy answer is it is their projector and computer have them hook it up.

The real answer involves a very basic understanding of video connections. Most likely this is not possible with "their" computer. You also must consider HD or SD. Unless it is required that they have your signal into the laptop then to the projector the easiest way is to connect to the projector , either SD or HD, and use the remote to switch inputs.

Also as usual there is way to little info in this post to cover all the possible issues and ways to connect. Most projectors have multiple inputs and a remote. This one may not etc. As always if you really need the right answer we need details, details, details.

Sorry for the lack of detail. I've never studied one of these projectors up close.
Great to hear though that you don't need a computer for it to work.
So it sounds simple enough - just hook up to the projector component in.

Thanks guys!

Some projectors do not have all these features. The one I own has VGA and composite in a 1/8 inch jack. Meaning I had to but a Component to VGA adapter from my HVX.
