Hi all --
A latin jazz musician asked me to produce a DVD of his live concert for his upcoming Grammy nomination and a potential DVD release.
I shot his performance with 3 camcorders (2 manned JVC HD100 in 720p, one stationary Canon XH-A1 plus additional tight head shots from one camcorder) under rather low light conditions, using only available light in the jazz venue. Edited on FCP. The band was miced up and the sound was mixed and mastered in a pro mixing facility on ProTools.
Since this is my first customer project, I'd be happy if you could give me some feedback on the overall production quality and if this is suited for a commercial DVD release. The final product will be a 90-min live music DVD with some bonus features (behind the scenes, interviews with musicians, etc).
