Pardon me if this has already been answered elsewhere, but has it been confirmed that the HVX will give a live thru monitor via FW in, analog component out from an NLE? If not, what's the plan for monitoring? P2 'VTR'? I/O card?
I think that's been pretty much assumed; after all that's one of the benefits of going with a DVCPRO-HD-based system rather than an MPEG-2-based system. MPEG2/HDV-based cameras will never be able to do that, whereas IINM, you can do that with the AJ-HD1200A deck from FCP, so presumably (and yes, that's assuming) the HVX will allow it as well.
