Live Green Screen Preview with 5D/7D?

Just wondering if anyone has solutions for live green screen preview with the 5D and 7D? I want to ensure that I'm lining things up correctly, and I think the problem with using something like "Veescope" is that the HDSLRs don't output firewire.

Any help would be great!

This is a dinky solution, but I print some jpegs on acetate (LCD sized) and see through them while I match angles. It takes a day of prep, but it really helps. If I'm on my own projects I can take that time. Shoot my subject, pick out 'keyframe' joegs, print them out on see through to the exact size of my lcd, slip em under the protective cover and shoot away.

Read up on the making of the spirit, through previewing what would happen after effects they were 'online' all the way. Previewing effects on the fly without harming the original file opens up doors not only in greenscreen, but with light and other effects too, it's great, doubt it can happen on a dslr though. Keying, with or without preview is a nightmare.

If it's just for pre-viz, get an inexpensive standard definition DV converter like a Canonpus ADVC110. Feed the composite signal out of the 5D. Otherwise, the next level up to HD would be a Matrox MXO2 mini with HDMI in.
