Live feed amplifier?

Hey guys, I'm doing a live event where the client has asked me to pipe a feed out of my HVX through 100+ feet of coaxial cable to a big projection screen TV...

Am I going to need an amplifier or can my HVX push a signal through that much cable without too much video degradation? It's just a stationary shot from a tripod of a bunch of speeches so there's very little motion, etc...

Thanks!!!

You'll be using the analog outputs of the cam, so while there will be some signal loss, I think you'll be OK. You didn't specify what signal you will be using, but S-Video or component would be best. I'd avoid the composite yellow jack. If your running unbalanced audio from the rca's also to the TV, you may want a distribution amp for that to eliminate some noise or hum.
