"Live-Casting" to another room.

I have a wedding where the couple will be married inside a relative's house. From what I hear, the room is large, and should provide enough room. However, there will be guests upstairs during the ceremony who will also want to see the events unfolding. What's the best way to send video thru walls, upstairs, etc? Do those inexpensive jumpers really do the job?

I have a spare camera which I can position and leave in place for this. I did not want to bother with cables or any unnecessary accessories on my DVX (main camera). I get too paranoid about screwing up, don't need extra trouble in the way.

This "livecase" concept was suggested to us last minute by the couple, so I don't feel too obliged to bend over backwards figuring this out... but if someone has a failsafe idea, I may be able to come out as a hero and really come out on top.

Should there be an extra charge for this- after all it's extra work- what would you do?

Thanks.

Re: "Live-Casting" to another room.

Yes extra charge, at least 250, thats renting the other camera from you and setting up the live feed, that will take an extra 20 minutes or so...But at the end of the nite thats the last thing ull be able to break down and means u will be staying later...

if there is a cable feed in each room of the house u can get an rf modulater and send signal from the camera through standard coax, they sell them at radioshack......then tune ure vcr or tv at the other end to channel 3 or 4 and that will give you the picture..

Are you going to TV or a Projector?

how far is the run if you had to lay a cable down?

ask to set up day befor wedding or arrive 2-3 hours early to get everything in order..
