I'm looking to purchase an SD prosumer level camera and I have a question that I hope to be simple! I need to capture live video from a camera to a video capture card on an appliance through S-Video. Will the DVX100B push video straight through the S-Video without recording to anything or will it have to be recorded and played back? I cannot do this through firewire and the need for a live capture is because another media source is going to be muxed with the video input also in real time.
