Little Video

Hey i recently got my dvx and started experimenting with it. This is my first actual "video" thats not just skating or family stuff. I shot it in the standard 24p setting, but it still looks like 60i? Anyone know how to make it look less digital/more dramatic?

Try more experimenting with camera settings (Create more intense colors)...sometimes slight underexposure to pick up darker shadows/ mood statement to your work. Try to control lighting in order to use full range of exposure latitude. Try to limit depth of field... Use a variety of focal lengths (i.e. Wide, close-ups, walk thru or in and out of scene)
Read Barry Braverman's book: Video Shooter also Read Barry Green's book all about the DVX / DOF (depth of field)...scene settings
But you're off to a fine start with your video...keep making magic!
