Little Pentax K-5 Shortfilm

Looks good... how are you finding the camera, so far? Moire, aliasing, sharpness?

Any chance of uploading some 1080p footage to view?
 
i love this cam for photos. the dynamic range is incredible. but in video mode this cam isn't that good. i felt so worried about the quality cause you can't really know in which settings you are shooting. this was my first test, so i haven't much experience with moire, aliasing etc but the shake reduction feature is awesome and the range of lenses too. i'll try to upload some full hd footage soon.
 
So pentax is still one year behind canon and doesnt have full manual video mode ? Footage looks good.
 
sadly yes and i got some issues with dead pixels in video mode too. the camera feels so good in your hands and got a really rugged construction.
man pentax, you could make a very adorable vdsrl, but you don't take this chance so far without a pro camera to protect. that's so strange.

I dont know, strange is that Canon listened to its customers and gave them 24p in 5D and released 7D with 24p.Never heard about something like this ,but yes ,pentax should try to keep up with competition anyway and include manual video mode.They are company and they do it for money so why lose the clients to canon and stay behind?
