little line in vegas 7

When editing in Vegas 7, how do you turn off the little line that gives you the option of snapping a clip to another. I like the snap feature in 6, but I can't stand the little line that shows up whenever I do this. Any help would be great... Thanks!
 
What? You find it more convenient to guess if the clips are actually butted up against each other? And would rather line up clips on separate tracks by eye?

I love the thing. I haven't had to go back in and close gaps yet.
 
wow, thats one of my favorite features as well. As for dissabling it, I believe if you go to options/preferences/ General Tab down towards the bottom is a setting called "always draw marker lines". I don't feel like dissabling it on mine so I can't check if that is the right one, but try that out and see if it works.
 
Just notice it,---but my marker lines are not functioning.
Doubled ehcked and the preference is checked.
Any thoughts?
This would ber V7.0c
