Little help with this listing?

I'm in the market for a used HVX200/200a and I think I found a pretty good listing here (I know that I'm kind of screwing myself over if somebody else likes it, but I'm willing to chance it).

The camera has decently low hours and the seller has a pristine feedback rating over 1400 someodd transactions. If you guys could take a look and tell me what you think, I would be very appreciative. Thanks!!

By the way, if somebody would like to take my logic a step further or lead me in a new direction, my total budget (bank account) is $7500 --- 6500 of which I am willing to spend. All I have right now is an Oktava mic. My intentions off the bat include cam, adapter w/ 50mm lens, boompole and tripod.

that listing looks as legit as any other ive seen on ebay. there are no glaring signs of scammery...

but beware, transaction/feedback can be faked. share a couple emails with the seller. that will generally give you a better picture of whats what...

adapter w/ 50mm lens
if you get an adapter and ONLY get a single 50mm lens, you are going to feel VERY crippled.
you need to factor in 3 to 5 lenses. like say a 35, 50, 85 and 105 or something on that order.

you need to also factor in AT LEAST about a grand for the tripod. a good tripod is worth its weight in gold! you will never (without a lot of physical labor) get a good compound move with something on the order of a bogen 501 head

Well I intend to start with a nice 50mm to build around and then take it from there. I don't have the funds to buy more right now.

I find that many used HVX200s don't come with a p2 card because the prior owners just upgrade to 200a's or 170's and keep the cards.

By the way, I just have to say that I cringe every time I hear "free p2 card." It's just like "buy three tires and get the fourth free." I'm sick of seeing vendors up the package by 700 and call the card free. Just blowing off steam :D

Thanks for the comments!
