Shot on Red over 4 days, crew of 15. Self financed :) Hoping to explore new ideas with some of the same characters in a feature film project later in the year.

Pretty eerie. I didn't really understand what it was about. You may be leaving questions though to be answered in the feature? I just did the same thing a couple weeks ago shooting "CHANCE" (a short thriller) on the RED.

What was your budget?

I could be mistaken, and you're not turning this into a feature.

Either way - The production looked good. Acting was decent. Shots and composition were good for the majority. Sound was great (just listened on laptop speakers)

I really liked the demon that was crawling on the ground. VERY realistic.

James,
Well done! I thought the cineamtography good and the acting excellent. The barmaid, those kids, the alein, the doctor - wow! Not sure what was intended, but the chickens didn't seem dreamed to me, but rather like crazy friends dressed up and they all went out and got drunk. The girl chicken and the guy wound up in bed - no sex. The coughing was over done in the waiting room for my taste. I didn't understand the ending at all. Was this a loop thing possibly as of course the package was the same and numerous in the bar. Why the loop? The tuning fork somehow causes it to repeat? Why? And the guy with the fork? The one guy was mad at him in the bar because why?

I thought the composition was well done; you've used a variety of angles as well as different focal lengths (a lot of wides?) to create tension. One biggest request is to see a motif or theme that ties with the varies aspects of the film; a core idea. Some sort of representation or symbolism because without much meaning to the elements, it's hard to find meaning or find a relationship thus as a viewer I felt a little empty. I'm sure when you're planning a feature length film, you'll incorporate a central theme and purpose.

The purpose is the incomprehensible, in this case. It's not about the literal aspects of the film for me, it's more about the feelings and thoughts it conjures up. Having said that, the film isn't incomprehensible entirely. There are a number of ways in which it can be read so that it makes perfect sense, just takes a bit of thinking about (for me too).
