Little blocks in my HD footage

I have been shooting SD for the last 6 months with my HVX and today I shot some 1080i30p footage for the first time. I noticed that occassionaly that there was some what almost looked like just solid colored pixels in blocks flicker in the image every once in a while. Like maybe 10 total, randomly throughout, solid green, solid red. Just one frame. And only a few times.

But I never had this shooting SD footage onto my P2 card and importing into FCP, until now I shot this HD footage and get this...

What is the problem? Anyone experience this?

It's a problem caused by Macs importing P2 cards; search around for "the glitch" to read up more on it. The latest recommendation is to always write-protect your P2 cards before ever letting the Mac see them.

Ok, I had shot some other stuff as well, haven't switched to read only mode yet but from now on I will. BTW this has all been test footage... but to confirm something:

Now I see ONE horiztonal bar about 2/3rds up on the green screen, with many small green dots, stretching across, and it flashes the whole time, whether in HD or SD. Anyone seen this? Is this the same problem?

Will switch to read only mode when importing now... just want to make sure nothing is wrong w/camera or P2 card...
