Basically - it was provided by one of my executive producers and one of the things that made it such a great facility was that it could indeed house the cast and crew - actually, it housed about half the crew and a few of the cast on and off, since most people were local.
We were allowed to do cosmetic changes with furniture and set dressings but nothing invasive. The best thing about the house is its wallpaper - I don't think there are any straight white walls, so that added a ton of production value!
