Linking Audio & Video DNG files in Resolve

I'm sure there is something I'm missing here, but when I shoot my footage (FS700 Raw> 7Q 2K DNG). When I import the folders into Resolve to generate proxies for edit in Premeire, the audio and video components show up as different elements in the media library. I have to drag them separately into the timeline. They do play fine, but it seems to me there should be a way to link the WAV and DNG files so they travel together. What am I missing?

This is what I do. Click on the wav file in the media page. Make sure waveform is selected in top right and that indicator is at start of wav (it should be by default). Now click on the DNG. Now click on link button at far right of screen (it looks like chainlink). The clips should now be linked from now on out.

I do the same method. I wish there was a way to link them up automatically. The audio comes in with the timecode set at 0 for each clip and doesn't match the time of the frames. So resolve's sync with timecode doesn't work. I really wish there was a way to solve this with convergent design. I have brought it up in the past...

What format is the audio in? It needs to be in .BWF format for time code support. Is there an option for that on the Odyessey?

After experimenting with this over the weekend, the latest version of Premiere seems to do a pretty good job of bringing the DNG files in with the audio synced up. The Lumetri Color effect is pretty complete and allows me to save a quick preset for the footage that I can apply to all clips pretty easily. I'm wondering if I need the trip through Resolve at all. Lot's of extra processing to make the proxies and then conform again later. Has Premeire CC 9.2 leapfrogged Resolve in this context?

I gave up on CC Premiere a few months ago. I think Resolve handles the raw dngs from the odyssey 7q better. They said it's all fixed in premiere now, but I still find dngs have a reddish tinge.
