Assuming I checked "prevent version compare" when preparing my hacked firmware, wouldn't that make my hacked firmware version 0.0? Then if I want to load my original bin to go back to the original settings (my Panasonic firmware is v. 1.2, which I downloaded from Panasonic's website when I first bought my GH1), why wouldn't I just put that original bin on my SD card and load it back on the GH1? Would I have to use P-tools and modify that bin to "prevent version compare" and resave it to go back to that firmware?Load ptool... Load 1.32 check "Prevent version compare" save as 1.XX (whatever you want XX to be)
Load that new modified .bin into your GH1.
Put the original 1.32 on an SD card. Load it into GH1. Now you are back to factory.
...why wouldn't I just put that original bin on my SD card and load it back on the GH1?...
