Limited ISO options on rental cam?

Hi There, I'm a longtime 5D2 user and recently rented a second cam for a shoot. The rental 5D2 had only a few ISO options. I think –– 100 400 800 1200 3200 6400. I'm used to seeing many more options on my camera.

Also, even though I carefully matched picture profiles, the image was much more contrasty on the rental camera.

Any idea what's going on?

This may be an obvious and silly question - but did you enable ISO adjustments in 1/3 increments? They may have had it set up without these stops.
