Lilliput 665gl sound problem

Hi everyone, I bought a Lilliput 665GL, which is, in my opinion, a decent tool for the price. But I have a tiny problem with it, I use it with an AF100 through HDMI (with composite it is just awful) to get a fullscreen image, but the drawback is the sound is also transmitted, and when you shoot a scene close to the action it is annoying to have your monitor outing sound. I searched the manual, the net, forums, etc.. but can't find a clue how to disable sound on that monitor. Maybe I missed something, if you guys have some tips, I would be thankful! Otherwise I plan to open it up and take out the sound device from it.

I don't have mine right in front of me at the moment, but it's either the arrows or the + and - buttons that will turn the volume up/down when not in a menu.

I found! volume can be assigned to either R1, R2, R3, R4 which normally are brightness, saturation, tint, contrast, it's in menu:function. Guess I was searching for it with my eyes closed!

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing this info, just used it to solve an infuriating audio issue. Found the thread via search result and appreciated you coming back to the forum and sharing the solution! :)

Thank you for this! Been wondering how to get rid of the audio from the monitor for a while now.
