I bought this monitor on a whim to use with a jib but have never used it. It's been sitting in my b-bag unused and is still under the one year warranty. I've just been using my SmallHD DP4 which is smaller and easier to carry. I have powered the monitor up to see how it looks and to make sure that it works. It's not your super cheap bottom of the barrel Lilliput since it offers 1024 x 600 native resolution and 700:1 contrast ratio and up to 1920 x 1080 resolution. It also has an HDMI out port for passthrough to another monitor. It uses Sony batteries which are cheap and plentiful and comes an adapter that allows you to use Canon lp-e6 batteries. Also has an attachable collapsible hood that works great to protect the screen and to shield it from the sun. This is an HDMI monitor with analog inputs. As you can see, I've never even pulled the connector caps off or removed the inputs below the bar code.
