Lights of Christmas

This was an amazing display, projected onto the south face of St Mary's Cathedral in Sydney. The whole show lasted about 20 mins, and ran every night in December till the 25th, with many oohs & ahs all round.

Hey Shooter from a non religious guy the madonna and child sequence was nearly enough to make me cross over!

Well...it almost made me cross the ditch to see the display .

After a month in Italy (september 2011) I did not need to see any more reason to "cross over" but I do enjoy large scale "art /technology" installations.

We run a charity, which gives out books to the homeless and disadvantaged, on Martin Place in the city, every Tues night. I wasn't aware of this display until one of our homeless customers said I should check it out. He was raving about it, so I did, only bummer being apparently the lazer light show was accompanied by the Sydney Children's Choir for the first hour or so, which I missed. Only the second year they've done it so will get in early in Dec this year.
