Lightroom 3 doesn't import/see Panasonic GH2 video files?

Jeffrey Friedl Asset Management plug-in for Lightroom

Khina,

Lightroom 3 does not support AVCHD video, so if that is the reason you bought then you're almost out of luck, but not completely.

A fellow by the name of Jeffrey Friedl makes plug-ins for Lightroom, including one that let's you import and manage all sorts of assets. I might give it a try myself one of these days, for my GF1 and if I ever get a GH2. Here is a link. It is basically free, but you do have to register and can make a donation if you wish.

I got tired of dealing with Panasonic AVCHD, so I convert it to .wmv before I do anything with it. If you have a Windows machine, I recommend Free HD from Koyote Soft. As the name suggests, it's free, plus the interface is simple, it just works and there are no ads bugging you to buy any sort of "premium upgrade" (yet).

There is also a program called IDimager, which is an amazing Digital Asset Management program, that supports AVCHD.
