Lighting with a PAL GH13 in the US

Taking my GH13 and 60D to the US. Have to shoot 1080p 25fps. Anticipate hiring minimal lighting kits whilst there. Any gotcha's to be aware of - i.e. flicker with native mains frequency if using practicals, and is it possible to hire 50hz lighting over there? Boston and NYC likely venues.

I was just there with a PAL GH13, shooting with available light and indoors with available artificial.
I set my shutter to 60fps and haven't seen any flicker .
 
Shot today under flourescent tubes. 25p. 60fps. I get flicker ... not too much but definitely noticeable.
