MUSIC VIDEO: Lighting Nelly Furtado performance-

This is the first time I experimented to this degree with Lee 653 Lo Sodium gels.
Combined with red LED's, and some deep amber, as well as CTO + 1/2 Straw on the PAR cans, I tried to create an urban feel to this studio performance:

Honestly, 50/50 on this one.

I like the 3 dimensionality, using colours to separate the planes etc., good exposure. But the skin tones on Nelly aren't as pleasing, for me - maybe less red, more pink/rose ?


Overall, good call on the urban vibe. What were you shooting with ?
