Pretty good.

The narration is okay, but kind of annoying at times. Not because it's narration, but because it feels a little forced, and thus, a tad comedic. You know, those comedies that have this deep voice movie guy that goes a little too over the top for comedic effect? It felt a little bit like that.

The 'dessert' didn't seem very dessert like. Was it like a beach? Pretty well done though to sell it with the backgrounds.

I gotta ask though, why is he looking in the water? Does the water 'testing' have to do with finding the light of Eden? That's what I'm getting from it, but not sure if it's your intention. Cause his 'searching' consisted of walking around near known structures, but then kneeling down and testing the water, or using it to splash on his face.

So overall interesting stuff. Even though it doesn't make sense, this "color made by god" concept is interesting.

Good luck, let us know how the premiere goes!

Its decent. But the no budget side of the film really shows. Im not too keen on the constant narration either. Feels very forced. The voice who narrated did well, but i wish it would have stopped when the character came into frame.

It looks quite good.

The problem with it for me is that you have an epic narration and story (the Light of God himself no less) played next to images of a guy dipping his hands in water and rooting about in the very top layer of soil to make his discoveries.

It's like a contradiction in story telling. You've got this hidden power that has been lost to all mankind, and then you can find it so easily. It weakens it.

It's like Indiana Jones finding the Holy Grail by renting a library book that tells him exactly where it is.

If you're going to go Epic, you need epic obstacles to overcome. These could either be internal spiritual struggles (In the old Camelot stories the Grail was hard to find because you had to be completely pure of soul to find it, so only Perceval could find it) or it has to be physically almost impossible to find the clues and you need to see him finding lost temples or using state of the art equipment.

The former probably suits your budget and your religious outlook better. It's like becoming a Buddha or becoming an immortal, only those who don't want it have free enough souls to accomplish it.

I agree, I feel as though you need at the very least him passing through some caves with a torch/lantern giving the feeling of searching through the depths of earth itself to find this thing.
