light loss??

I'm planning a shoot using the HVX which would include quite a bit of overcranking/ slo motion exterior shots during daytime. I would like to use a 35mm lens adapter with this shoot if possible. Am I likely to run into major low light/ noise issues??

HVX200 = 320ASA
HVX200 + M2 = 100ASA (approx)
HVX200 + M2 + 60frames at 24 fps = 33ASA (approx)

Pretty freakin' dark. If you're shooting with the sun at your back on a cloudless day, you'll be ok. Otherwise, I'd call it a crap shoot. It's like shooting with the 1/64th ND on all the time.

Renting a faster camera might be cheaper than renting HMIs.

Thanks for the responses sofar. I'm starting to think this forum is some of the best tech support out there.

Couple of questions to add: Letus extreme adapter claims only 1/2 stop loss of light. Is this significantly less than M2? or does it all come out pretty much the same?

Speaking of overcranking, I can't figure out where in the HVX's menu to access the variable frame rates.

BTW - you 'could' see increased grain with overcranking and the Lex. Especially at 60fps and bright objects like the sky.
