Lifespan of SDHC cards?

We've been using the Panny Gold SDHC cards in our AF-100 (two 16GB cards). We got the camera when it first came out and have been using the cards ever since. Our editor saw a glitch in one frame of a shoot we did recently. I can't confirm if this was just the trascoded file in FCP or if it was in the original file (we do have the original file copied, just haven't had a chance to check it). At any rate, this got me thinking about the lifespan of these cards, does anyone have any insight? We've been extremely busy and have given the cards a lot of use. It's easy and cheap enough to buy some more but just curious. (As am unrelated aside...why am I not able to hit 'enter' to start a new paragraph on this page lol)

Almost unquestionably it happened when transferring the footage on the mac. Search around here, we have several reports of that. I wouldn't expect that the card itself is at fault.
