My voyage into external monitors didn't last long (bought an iMac).
Had it for 24 days. Could return it but waiting for the process to complete is an inconvenience. But will have no choice if it doesn't move here in the next 2-3 days.
Ships in the retail box which is how it was shipped to me (you can actually see some of one of two parts of the old label in the top left that I tried to peel off), but the padding, protection inside is sufficient.
As far as the monitor, it's a gorgeous LG panel.
