Lexar 16GB 60x for 19.99 at Adorama...

"page not found"

Was that a Class 4 card? 60x sounds like Class 2, which isn't fast enough to record video with. It'd work for stills though.
 
The site says Class 4, and there is a 4 with a circle on the card. You may be right about the speed though if 60x won't cut it. They must have gotten slammed and taken it down. Maybe it was a price mistake, but I slipped an order in.

You are right, the link is no longer working for me either.

Who knows, it might come back up...
 
It probably won't which is why the HD video one below it is $40...which is actually not a bad deal.

I shoot on 15Mbps (big M) class 4 san disk cards with no problems.

Well, that's a nice surprise. Last time I went to the page it just flat-out said "this product is no longer available", but Ian's right -- they're back and available to be ordered! $20 for a 16GB Class 4... from a top brand like Lexar. That's pretty darn good!

My friends and I found a 16gb San Disk Ultra II on a wall near a building last night but it happened to be the student press center building (where I work) and I made them return it...still that's a great price $0 ftw!
 
Class 4 is fast enough for the HMC150's 21mbps 720/60p, so it should certainly be fast enough for the GH1's 17mbps 720/60p.

The GH1 manual does recommend getting a Class 6 card, but I think that has more to do with the MJPG mode or for storing burst mode stills.
 
Figured I would share with my GH1 brethren. I got an email on my order stating backordered as well. There is a free 7-10 day shipping option...what option is 33 bucks?

I got my Lexar card in the mail this week -- I had no idea what it was it was so long ago!

A nice surprise. Looks like the price is back up to $45!
 
Yeah, I got mine a couple of days ago too. 16GB of Class 4, 94 minutes of PH mode, for $20 with free shipping... great deal.
