wow, i had thought about putting it on upside down ,but since i've never had one on hand, i wasn't sure if that was opssible. but thanks for the reassurance!
 
Also keep in mind that there will be holes pre-drilled on the bottom of the Letus to allow for secure mounting to the rails. If you flip it up like that, you won't have that extra security. I also agree that it would cause big problems if you wanted to use a mattebox
 
Good points. Didn't think about the pre-drilled holes and the use of a mattebox. Too bad, since the upside down trick made the whole setup looks less "hacky" in my opinion...
