this is one of the cheapest adapters you can get bseides making one, am i right?

and also does anyone have any quitime footage of this adapter with a dvx?

Im pretty sure the letus goes for around $300 standard (?) and $600 for the flip. I recieved my letus flip a week ago and have not yet used it apart from a quick test. The test footage seemed good apart from when it arrived the inside of the unit is full of debris which shows up clearly on my shots. Now for some this is not an issue as they can remove the ground glass and clean inside with confidence. Me? Not really..... so there you go I have a letus35 flip that I can not currently use until I cut the glue, remove the ground glass, clean, buy a hot glue gun to replace gg, and then let it dry.

Letus have a cheaper version on thier site I notice that comes unclean, thus you get it cheaper (makes sence). Did I order this unclean version? Not that I am aware of. In addition when I originally ordered after 14 days my unit did not arrive I emailed and was told to be patient. I did the same the next week with the same response. I asked for a shipping code so I could track the order. I was told they dont have them. I asked then that because the order had not come could I have a copy of the postal reciept, they again didnt have one.

At this point time had come to four/five weeks. (I needed this unit for a shoot which actually passed). Letus told me they would reship an order to me. I asked them over the next week numerous times if they could tell me approx when. This went unaswered. Finally a week later an email arrived saying it had been shipped.

A week later it arrived.

I'm looking at the LetUs Flip enhanced version but I'm finding the order process a bit dodgy. Have you sorted out the issues with your unit, NCJE?
Would you recomend it?

I find this disturbing since service is paramount to me. Even more so than price. :(

Ive just started using the flip. Working out a best practice approach to using it when it should be and not when it shouldnt. So far it has yeilded good results. The resulting shots have come up rather nicely on my 42 inch plasma.

So how do you feel about the Letus 35? You had me worried earlier but now I don't know....

If service is paramount, then you need to get the mini35:

And you'll pay, big time.

I just got my Letus35 and have not had one single problem. For the price, it can't be beat.

Also, I DO NOT recommend trying to build your own unless your time isn't worth much. I burned several days, a bunch of gas, plus about $100 in parts before I decided it was much more cost effective to buy the Letus.
