Letus Hawk vf works well on d7000

Not much information if any for us d7000 users. Had to buy one to try it. Fits and works great. I bought it from BH. It didn't come with the quick release base. Called Letus direct. The company is awesome. They returned my call in a few minutes and for the price of shipping sent me the quick release base, the same day!

is that actual carbon fiber, or faux? Overkill if its actually carbon, and strange looking if its faux

good to know their customer service is up for the job though
 
It's real carbon and your right, the build is over the top.... ( I love the build quality!) including the smooth.......fine threaded diopter. They do make a aluminum one now which probably looks more at home. Black on black.
 
thats pretty crazy they went with actual carbon fiber for the build. Some engineer got his wish haha
