Letus DSLR Rig

So I'm in the market for a good DSLR rig (but one that's not too expensive) and I was pretty much set on a Redrock one, mostly because I plan on getting a SmallHD monitor, but then I came across this one by Letus.

It looks nice and its a pretty good deal on a shoulder rig. Has anyone had any experience with this? I always hear about Redrock and Zacuto but I never hear about Letus anymore. I remember back in the DOF adapter days (oh what silly times) Letus was top dog.

They also just announced a new Follow Focus. And its on sale for pre-order for $499!

Has anyone had a chance to toy with it at NAB?

No experience w/ rigs myself (yet), so I don't have a first person perspective on this, but when I do get a rig, it will most likely be from CPMFilm tools. I've only heard good things about their products. They're fairly priced and have quite a few options for rigs.

$800 for a that shoulder rig seems Insanely OVER PRICED.

Have you seen some of the rigs by Redrock, Zacuto, and Cinevate? That's not a bad price compared to those rigs.

If it's made with high quality components, $800 isn't a bad price. I am very happy with my Zacuto/Redrock/Jag 35 hybrid and feel like the extra cost for rock-solid stability was money well-spent. I'm personally not a fan of the off-set design, but otherwise this one looks pretty good.
