Letterbox Safe in DVX?

Is there anyway to show a letterbox safe zone in the viewfinder on the DVX. I know this is a feature with cameras such as the Jvc 500 but wasnt sure about the panny.

I don't think so. You can make a clear plastic decal with a letterbox for the lcd screen, though.
Or, buy a pair of 'em from Rush at EVS. That's the simplist way.

this is what i do:

Switch it to letter box mode, find out where the cut off zone is, put masking tape on the side of the lcd screen at the top and bottom cut off points... (not on the screen though)

and you can even put it on both sides and get a piece of string held down by the masking tape.
 
I have done what St has, but I bought the clear screen protectors for pda's and actually traced the lines with a thin sharpie.
