Here's my problem: I shot in cinema mode on the DVX and edited all my footage in a 16:9 timeline. When I play the exported avi files in windows media player, the aspect ratio is fine but there are black borders on all sides. However, when I play the footage in Quicktime, it has the black borders AND it's stretched vertically. How do I scale the footage in my NLE so that it looks normal in Quicktime?
Sorry if this is redundant with previous posts. I've read a few other posts on this problem, but none of the suggestions seem to work, such as scaling veritically 134 percent (which does the complete opposite of what I want).
