Hello, everyone. I have decided to get a PC since they are less expensive than a mac. Does Vegas Video have a way to add letterbox? If not what program does?
Thanks,

Re: Letterbox in post?
Yeah. Just go to the cropping screen and select either 16x9 or Academy 1.85 (I prefer). Or crop it yourself.
You can then export as widescreen and it will uprez the image (with decent, but not spectacular, results) -- but be careful to make sure all your clips match.

You can also place a letter box .png file over your video if you're needing to cover multiple tracks.
www.sundancemediagroup.com has a tutorial and .veg file sharing section that includes this letterbox mask.
