I just got this email from longtime DVXuser member PK (Kirk) regarding Isara's latest news -
while they've been doing a bunch of great work... they've also run into some problems lately
I figured I'd throw this out there... in case any of you felt like you hadn't done enough to help out the rest of humanity lately, and maybe you happen to have an extra dollar or two laying around.
It could make a world of difference.
I'm just sayin'

Dear Isara Charity Supporter,
As a way of saying thank you, we wanted you to have some photos you could print and frame as a reminder of your generosity. Because of your help we were able to buy the van we needed, build two new classrooms, and make some much needed repairs to our Learning Center. Thank you very much for making a difference. Isara's Learning Center has more students than ever before and we have a good amount of volunteers coming over to help. We were also recently featured in a national TV show and we will soon open a community radio station. Find out more information at http://www.isara.org .
Unfortunately, it's not all good news. Last Saturday, on our way to visit the local AIDS Orphanage, our used van broke-down and we were told (from a trusted source) that it would cost $1,500 or more to fix. We managed to get them to donate the repair fee but the parts are still going to cost about $850. If you have $5 or $10 available to donate please do so by clicking the link below and then make a "One-Time Donation". All the money raised in the next week or so will go directly to fixing the van.

Thanks again for making a difference with Isara. All of us here really appreciate your help,
