Ok, this whole thing is really starting to bug me. Half the people see noise. Half don't. So how about this: For those of us that havn't seen any major noise, would you noise finders mind posting some of your worst offenders?
Lets see that noise!

We've already run a huge thread on this same issue, and tried to get some noisers together with some non-noisers.
For full disclosure: I had about 100,000 people come through the NAB booth and look at HVX footage, displayed on a plasma HDTV. Didn't hear one sniff or hint of noise, one noiser came actually onto the stage to stare at the screen trying to find noise. And yes if you're three inches away you could see some, but that wasn't rational.
On a Dell 2405 with lousy component inputs there's noise. On the LCD with EVF DTL on it looks like there's noise. On a 10' DLP projection screen there's no more noise than any other comparable camera.
So instead of having the board devolve into noise vs. non-noise AGAIN, let's let the noisers & non-noisers get together and see for themselves.
