...hm, guess I don't really have a question in there... just blatantly boasting, really
No, the collection isn't mine... putting together a mini-doc for a local camera museum during my week off. My "hook" for the piece is going to be shooting with examples of lenses as the curator is talking about those very lenses and the camera bodies that love them. Talking with the curator, I think I need to ask Fotodiox for sponsorship or something... in addition to the Leica R, Nikon, FD, M42, and OM adapters I already own, I'll need to procure Leica M, LTM/M39, MD, Pen F, Pentax K, Praktica B, Contax G, C/Y, and Nikon S/Contax RF adapters... easily $400 alone just in the simple cheap Fotodiox ware. Surely there's some value for them if I happen to plop their name in the piece, by an unknown filmmaker about a small Shenandoah Valley museum... um... yeah.
Also starting to craft in my head how I can get an approximation of the image from an old 5x4 view camera. There's a pile of those and other bellows jobbies there, medium formats, all that stuff. Probably going to get a close-focusing lens, some duvatyne, and a largish piece of "ground glass" and see what I can cobble.
Anyway, even though it's work-for-free, it'll be a heck of a lot more fun that sitting around the house moping about not having a full schedule.
