Let the Vimeo AF100 avalanche begin...

It just too NOISY! Look at all that noise! NOISE NOISE NOISE! Just kidding

SO what now? For real, I can't see a single bit a noise.

Wow, very clean, no artifacts, nice DR, no moire, real sound, can record to a Ki Pro if I want... so long 7D, and $carlet, and whatever else.

I don' t know where the nice DR argument comes from, because to judge DR in such am overcast gloomy weather is beyond me. Show me some sunlit footage with some human faces to see the roll off etc and then we will be able to see the DR

Thanks! That is exactly what I wanted to know. I find footage shot between detail of -4 and -7 to be amazing. I also so far like coring from 0 to +2 from what I have seen. Thanks for sharing. My AF100 will not be here till next week.

You're welcome.
Enjoy your new toy!

Codec stress test tonight- NHL hockey, long lenses, overcranking. Will be using PREREC for the big saves and such.

Does Prerec use more battery if I turn it on and leave it always on and running? It seems constantly running the sensor and recording to the buffer at full resolution would require more battery if that feature is turned on, than only reading the full sensor when start/stop is pushed. (Or is it always reading the full sensor regardless for the viewfinder/screen?)

AF100 production model.

F. Chiesa's clips from this morning.

So why am I not seeing more footage like this? Granted not everyone has castles in their backyard, but this is the quality that I was expecting to see from a large sensor, in terms of range and color...

Oh yeah, I should add that kyle's test drips are what I'm talking about as well. Is it all in the colorgrading?
