Less than smooth zoom rocker motion on stock 370 lens

Anybody else have jerky motion while zooming? Mine feels like it keeps catching.
I can't get a smooth push or pull. I'm about to send it in for repair, but I'm wondering if it's just mine.

Mine seem to be fine and like other broadcast lenses I have used so it sounds like it is faulty!

As long as the lens settings are set correctly the rocker should be very smooth. Read thru the lens manual just to double check.

Just one thought have you tried changing the switch underneath the lens rocker from manual to servo a few times it may be a dodgy contact on the switch or it may be that the servo control cog is not making contact with the lens ring properly.

Mine is doing the same thing on slow zooms only. It's become impossible to do a really slow, smooth zoom. Please let me know what you find you.

It took me a while, but I finally sent my lens in to Fujinon for repair (with just a week or 2 left on the 1 year warranty!).
I sent it overnight to them on a Thursday and the following Monday was Labor Day, no u in labor, so it was a U.S. holiday
They sent it back on the following Thursday (ground, so it took until yesterday, Monday). They had it 2 full days. Works great.
