Less heat: Nikon or Canon?

Trying to decide between Nikon D300s or Canon 7D/5DMarkII for video shooting.
Would go with Canon for the higher res but overheating seems worse in these.
Just wondering: Any one tested or can confirm Canon overheats first?
 
7d has never overheated when filming for me even in 100 degree texas sun. I got a few brief heat flashes, but by turning it off between takes it wasn't an issue.
 
Wait a minute... If we're talking about Nikon here, then does the D300s have the same 5-minute time limit that the D90 and D5000 have, specifically because of the overheating issues?
