Unfortunately i had to send my letus extreme in for repairs ( small diagonal black spikeish lines going through the corner of the image ) But the good news is that the letus corporation, once again, BLEW me away with their fast response and completely selfless service. So i should be getting my unit b ack reasonably soon after i send it off monday.

For the mean time, here are some stills from a low budget french feature im currenty working on

Canon XH A1 Truecolor preset with post tweaking:

I don't get it? First we see shots from a film Jonathan is working on... then a shot of a dog from waefre??

am I missing the connection?

they are much softer. I hate heavy detail so i put mine down to -9.
The first grab is almost perfect focus, the second one has a bit of motion blur in it and the third is slightly slightly off.

Here are some low rez updated grabs. I am getting closer to the grading i want for the films. you will notice they are much differently colored that the grabs up top. I decided to go in a much different direction so they won't resemble each other very much.

Comments are always welcome! ( as long as they are not about the compression and low resolution )

again, sorry for the compression / low rez

comments as usual are always welcome!

One thing that has been great about this project is really focusing on lighting, and learning about creating and controlling contrast ratio's that work well, to create smooth transition across skin. I have been putting my Arri's away and using Cool lights solely for the interior stuff, the 150 CDM Fresnel and the 4x55 and 6x55 fluorescent banks. (highly recommended)

thanks for the comment!

Thanks ecking. It's been a big learning experience so far. Each day i feel like i am taking a bit more out of every experience.

Hey papa, way to freak the true color. True color plus 35mm adapter puts the canon a1 in a league of it's own.
