[WTB] LensProToGo had $600,000 of gear stolen. Keep an eye out!

[kevstauss]

I didn't see this posted anywhere around here, so I thought I'd do so. LensProToGo just had about $600,000 worth of gear stolen from them and they have posted the serial numbers of all of the stolen items here: https://www.lensprotogo.com/serial-numbers-of-stolen-gear-from-half-million-dollar-rental-heist/

Keep an eye out when purchasing gear and remember to grab the serial numbers before buying.

(Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to post this; just thought it would get the most attention here.)

That's crazy! I hope the authorities apprehend the ones responsible and get the items returned. Lensprotogo has a good reputation, I feel sorry for them that this happened.

Holy crap that's a lot of gear... I hope they get caught! Thanks for putting the word out. I'm soon to be in the market for a new(used) system, and now know to cross reference the #'s. Thanks!

That's terrible! Worth hiring a security guard 24/7
